1. Plug the HEVC Box into your TV using the HDMI cable.
  2. Plug the HEVC Box into a wall outlet using the power adapter.
  3. The HEVC Box indicator light will turn blue to indicate it is on. Wait 30 seconds for the HEVC Box to fully load.
  4. Use your TV remote to change the input until you see the HEVC Box homepage (which looks like the image above).
  5. Ensure you have put two AAA batteries into your HEVC Box remote control.
  6. Point that remote control towards the HEVC Box and use the arrows to move between app icons. Use the center Select button on the remote to click an app icon.
  1. Click the Settings app icon.
  2. Go to the second section along the top: Display.
  3. The first option should be kept at “HDMI auto-detection enabled” unless you want to manually choose screen resolutions.
  4. The second option can be toggled to show or hide the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click the Display Position option and on the following page, reduce the size of the screen until you see the borders. Then go one step larger until the borders are hidden. Your HEVC Box now fits your TV perfectly.
  6. You can choose to enable the screen saver by picking a delay time.
  1. Click the Settings app icon.
  2. You will start in the Network section.
  3. Choose the WiFi checkbox.
  4. The HEVC Box will start searching WiFi networks automatically.
  5. Choose the WiFi network name (SSID) you want to connect to.
  6. Enter your WiFi password and connect.
  1. Click the Settings app icon.
  2. You will start in the Network section.
  3. Choose the Ethernet checkbox.
  4. The HEVC Box will start searching wired networks automatically.
  5. When the IP address appears, the wired internet is connected.
  1. On the Home page you will see all the installed apps.
  2. Add any additional apps you want by clicking the +.
  3. Choose the apps you want and then click when done.

By setting your favourite add-ons as homescreen shortcuts within your Kodi configuration, you’ll be able to access them more easily. Follow these instructions to do so:

Step 1: Navigate to the “Settings” tab under the “SYSTEM” menu.

Step 2: Select the “Appearance” tab from the left side menu bar.

Step 3: Under the “Skin” tab on the left side menu bar, choose the “Settings” option under the current skin.

Step 4: Choose the “Add-on Shortcuts” tab from the left side menu bar.

Step 5: Under the “Home Page Videos Sub-menu” field select the shortcut placeholder that you wish to fill.

Step 6: Select the add-on you wish to place within the previously selected shortcut placeholder.

Step 7: Repeat Step 5 & Step 6 as you wish, in order to fill the other shortcut placeholders.

Step 8: Return to the main menu and enjoy the simpler navigation from now forward.

Setup is now complete! Enjoy accessing add-ons for Kodi much more quickly.

  1. Click the large green “My Apps” icon (with Android icon).
  2. You will see the list of your installed apps.
  3. Choose the app you want to open.
  1. Make sure your iPhone or iPad and your HEVC Box are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. Click the AirPlay or Miracast app icon.
  3. Download the AirPlay application based on the model of your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Enter AirPlay.
  5. On your iPhone or iPad, play a video, music or a picture.
  6. On your iPhone or iPad, slide up from the bottom of the screen and click the AirPlay icon.
  7. Enjoy your iPhone or iPad content directly on your TV.
  1. Make sure your Android device and your HEVC Box are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. Click the Miracast app icon.
  3. The HEVC Box will find peers automatically.
  4. On your Android device, click Settings > WLAN Display and choose to share files.
  5. Enjoy yourAndroid device content directly on your TV.
  1. Click the File browser app icon.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Insert the USB, SD card, SDHC card or MMC card.
  4. You will see “Device is mounting”.
  5. Once mounted, you can copy-paste files and folders between your storage device and your HEVC Box.
  1. Click the Email app icon.
  2. Enter your email account credentials (supports all major email providers).
  3. Press Next.
  4. Conveniently access your emails anytime.
  1. Click the Browser app icon.
  2. If you do not see a proper homepage, return to settings to configure your internet connection.
  3. Once connected to the internet, use the browser to explore any website right on your TV.
  1. Click the Media center app icon.
  2. Choose the media source and media you want to access.
  3. Enjoy your content.
  1. Click the Movie player app icon.
  2. Choose the movie you want to play.
  3. Enjoy your movie.
  1. Click the Music app icon.
  2. Choose the music you want to hear.
  3. Enjoy your music.
  1. Click the Gallery app icon.
  2. Choose the photos you want to access.
  3. Enjoy your photos.
  1. Click the Calculator app icon.
  2. Use the onscreen calculator for basic and scientific calculations.
  1. Click the Downloads app icon.
  2. Here you can see the status of your app downloads.
  1. Click the Settings app icon.
  2. Go to the third section along the top: Advanced.
  3. The first option is to edit Miracast settings.
  4. The next option lets you toggle Remote Control.
  5. The next option lets you toggle CEC Control (Consumer Electronics Control). This is an HDMI feature that makes your devices work better together, but is often disabled by default.
  6. The remaining options can be left at their default values (as shown in the figure above).
  1. Click the Settings app icon.
  2. Go to the fourth section along the top: Other.
  3. On the left you can see the device details.
  4. On the right you can click System Update to check for updates to your HEVC Box.
  5. Below that, you can click More Settings to access more advanced settings.
